Total Hockey Academy is lucky to add Jason to our team as our Strength and Conditioning Coach. Jason graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a BA in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine, as well as a minor in nutrition. He currently has certifications in the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as CPR/First aid. Jason was a three sport athlete in high school where he earned all conference honors in baseball. He then went on to play college baseball for two years at the University of Indianapolis. Jason has several years of experience in both sports performance and personal training. He interned at the world renowned Steadman Hawkins Clinic DTC, training numerous elite athletes from the NFL, MLB, and NHL. He helped several athletes train for the 2009 NFL combine, which one was successfully drafted in the second round by the Buffalo Bills. He currently works with athletes of all ages and experience level, helping improve strength, power, balance, agility and performance as well as injury prevention. Jason also helps run the adult level boot camps for those individuals who want to find a fun way to lose weight as well as gain strength and quality of life.
The main goal of these classes is to provide a fun atmosphere for adults while incorporating strength, agility, flexibility, and weight loss methods that make it a fun environment to be in. Each Group will get to enjoy things like yoga, pilates, and weight training that focuses on balance and stability, as well as fun ways to improve cardio vascular styles of training. Both sessions are for people of all fitness levels who enjoy social environments, and would like to improve their overall fitness and quality of life.

Total Hockey is offering private personal training with our strength coach Jason Oswald (See Bio). This is set up for people who would like to use the assistance of a personal trainer, but would like to work out in more of a private setting. These sessions will include an initial interview and program design that will be printed out for the individual to follow during the days they are away from the trainer. For additional charges you can get a full fitness evaluation, dietary analysis and calculations of caloric expenditures, sample daily food menus.
Individual: 55.00 per individual session: 50.00 per session with purchase of 10
